Narrative Project 4 - Hampton

I got a private tour of Hampton on Monday. It's amazing what they show (and give) you when you tell them you are working on a project for school. Actually it was very informative to my story and I got to see things most visitors don't, which was super fun. Deborah Patterson who is the Registar there, gave me some fantastic photos to use for this project. Here is a photo she gave me of a woman, most likely a slave standing by the farmhouse and slave quarters. Next to that photo is a photo I took on Monday of the same area. It's quite amazing!
