Happy Halloween Hampton Mansion Style

Here is another one of my photographs from the Hampton Mansion. My favorite place to visit is the family graveyard. You wander along a dirt path in the woods behind the main house. It can get creepy. Especially when no one is around and all of the sudden there is a kid with a dog walking behind you. Thanks kid, now I have to change my pants.

Fun little fact: The mausoleum holds over thirty bodies.

Happy Halloween!

Poster Idea Revised Again and Again

So after the brutal beating on Saturday, here is what I came up with for the poster. Not sure if I want to center the text or not, knowing that centering text is bad to our health. I feel like it works better centered, but the way I have it now sort of draws your eye over to the call to action. Thoughts, comments, suggestions... please!

Tweet Tweet Postcard Idea

So here is the postcard in progess. I decided to place the 300 words on the back side of the postcard. What is shown will be the front.

I'm really getting sick of looking at and reading social networking comments.

Thoughts and suggestions about the concept and design would be appreciated! Thanks!

So here is the magazine ad in progess. I still need to place in my 300 words and rearrange the last comment box. I also need to add dialogue to the top comment box. The comment will be something about why the kid quit playing soccer. I need to add the last few myspace icons at the bottom and determine what color choice I want my call to action to be.

Thoughts and suggestions about the concept and design would be appreciated! Thanks!

Project 3 Poster Idea

I changed my concept a little and the entire path I was headed on with this project. The concept is still social networking addiction and the effects on a person's life due to the addiction. I revised the campaign. The poster is a facebook page, the magazine ad will be a myspace page and the postercard will be a twitter page. The cause and/or effect is in the dialogue of the comments and status updates; i.e. poster shows the girl failed her exam because of too much time playing on facebook. The call to action is not to have people stop going to these sites, but to take a break for a day, and logout.

So here is the poster in progess. I still need to create the icons on the top portion and bottom portion. I am still playing around with color of the call to action text, though I am going to stick with the fonts.

I think I have covered everything that is required, but thoughts and suggestions about the concept and design would be appreciated! Thanks!
